The recent heatwave has been kind to us, warm enough to enjoy, cool enough to sleep through. The other day’s red sun was quite a sight; scientists had their explanation, of course, but it still felt a little spooky.

Some events kick off today, but oddly there’s been no official word from the council about VJ Day commemorations. I’ll share details as soon as they surface.
